Technology Information for Administrative Leadership (http://www.portical.org/)

I highly recommend this website for all educators but especially for instructional leaders trying to support 21st century technology in schools. It is an extensive resource database that contains over 500 carefully selected and annotated resources leading to quality educational technology resources in the forms of text, audio, and video. Many of the resources are from national publications and many are highlighted and hyperlinked on the first page. There are links to recent and pertinent hot topics on the opening page along with a search capability and post a question options. It also links to educational quotes , quick facts, projects, and educational technology cartoons. Also included in the resources are blogs, podcasts, stories, a forum, and surveys. Just about anything a 21st century instructional leader could dream of!
The site is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Office of Education with funding from the California Department of Education. There is a link to email the webmaster but no name is given however the partners and administrative staff for TIAL is given and there are options to email them. The site was composed in 2001 but is updated regularly and the format has been copied by other states. This website spotlights 21st century education and gives updated information that would be valuable to any educational leader in many different forms that are available to the 21st century educator.
